The types of wood I have chosen are.
Oak, Known for its long lasting and hardwearing properties and a great marriage when making drinks containing a spirit which has been matured in Oak casks such as bourbon, malt whisky or even sherry.
Cherry, I wanted to use Yew, but unfortunately it’s poisonous so that wouldn’t do, so this was the nearest which is safe and has a wonderful rich colour
Lime, I chose lime, as I wanted to use another fruit tree and limes in cocktails work!
Beech, Contemporary, bang up to date with style, its very hard wearing but extremely light in weight.
